Terms of Service

< real peopleYou agree to these terms of service if you decide to proceed with commissioning me.i. GENERAL
> Commission requests can be sent via Twitter DM or email.
> If there is no reference of a character (previous drawn art of the character being requested) I will deem the commission as a character design. You will be charged more for character designs.
> Criticisms are welcomed but this does not allow you to be rude and disrespectful. If you are deemed being inconsiderate. Your commission will be cancelled.ii. PAYMENT
> Payment will be USD $ only.
> A down payment is required before starting your commission (if it applies). The amount will vary on the commission. The remaining balance must be paid in full prior to you receiving the final unwatermarked image.
> The more complex the commission the higher the price. This means anything with lots of detail and/or additional objects.
> An invoice will be sent via PayPal once the piece has been finalized. You can request an invoice for the down-payment if you require it.
> In the case where I have not started your commission within 3 months after payment, you are able to ask for a full refund.iii. REFUNDS/CANCELATIONS
> I have the right to cancel and refund the money from a commission to you at any time I want.
> You may cancel the commission prior to making the down-payment. Once the down payment has been paid, any cancelation afterwards will not be refunded the down-payment.
> If the invoice isn't paid for 2 weeks after it was sent, the price of the commission will increase by 30% (this applies only to the remaining balance owed). If the commission is not paid within 3 weeks, the commission is canceled and no refund will be issued for any upfront payments made.
> If the money has not been sent out, the artist has all the right to cancel the commission.
> If a chargeback is filed your right to the art you've commissioned is forfeit.
> If the above action is taken upon me. You will no longer be able to commission me from that point forward.
> I will publicly state your behavior for other artists if you have been unacceptable and unprofessional.
> I have every right to file a complaint and will have all the right to the money you have sent me.iv. PERMISSION/COPYRIGHT
> The artist (me) has the right to the art the artist has created. The commissioner does not hold any rights over the art that has been commissioned.
> Clients may not claim, edit, correct, adapt, modify, change and / or redistribute the finished artwork in any way without permission from the artist.
> Please credit the artist @bunisocks on twitterv. COMMERCIAL USE
Additional fees will apply if requested for Commercial Use> Prices will increase 3x if it's for commercial use (merchandise, etc.)
> Commercial use will only apply when the artwork is the bulk of the product.
> All profits made from the use of my illustrations will belong to the commissioner unless agreed upon otherwise.
> Please ask the artist before redistributing the art.
> Prices stay the same if the commission is not for commercial use.vi. PROCESS
Work in Progress(WIPs) will be provided if asked from the commissioner. But I will provide WIPs as a courtesy without being prompted to provide WIPs from the commissioner in order to maintain communication and inform you on the status of the commission.The commissioning process will be as shown:
> Reach out to the artist, ask any questions and provide detail on the commission.
> The artist will discuss with the commissioner about the commission and issue a price that must be agreed upon before proceeding with the commission.
> The artist may provide rough sketches prior to receiving down-payment to get the commissioner involved and understand what the artist has envisioned based on the information provided by the commissioner.
> If a rough sketch is approved the artist will await a down-payment before proceeding to further sketch out the piece.
(if an invoice is required please request one for the down-payment)
> Once the commissioner has paid the down-payment, they are free to be involved in the finalization of the sketch and provide input and feedback. Changes will occur but do not abuse this ability to request changes along the finalization of the piece. If the artist deems that the changes have strayed too far from the initial sketch agreed upon. The artist has the right to charge an additional amount.
> The artist will continue to finalize the piece beyond the clean sketch phase.
> The artist will provide a final watermarked WIP of the commission.
> In the case where the commissioner asks for adjustments after the artist has finished the commission, there will be a ~$5 charge per adjustment. The charge varies depends on the difficulty of the revision. (If the change is drastic this charge will apply.)
> The artist will send the final invoice.The artist will work with the commissioner if the commissioner requires time to pay the remaining amount.
